Vintage Onyx Owl Conversion Ring of 10k Gold

Owls have long associations with wisdom and academic achievement. The Greek goddess of wisdom, Athena, was often depicted with an owl, as was her Roman counterpart Minerva.

We created this unique ring by riveting an owl from a 9ct gold brooch (circa 1910) onto a vintage 10k gold & onyx ring (circa 1930-1940).

The face of the ring measures 0.8 inches by 0.6 inches wide, and it is in great condition. The ring is a size 8.5, but it can be resized free of charge.
