Large Purple Pansy Ring | Antique Pin Conversion Ring

Pansies or heartsease were referred to by Shakespeare as "Cupid's flower." Rich in symbolism, this flower was believed to symbolize that one was loved by their sweetheart.

This finely wrought pansy was originally a 14k gold brooch (circa 1905-1915), but our jeweler removed the pin findings and welded it onto a thick 14k gold vintage band to transform the piece into a ring. The piece features enamel petals with a delicate bead set half pearl border and a 10 point (0.10 carat) diamond accent.

This large pansy measures 0.8 inches (20mm) tall by 0.8 inches (20mm wide) and it is in excellent condition; however one of the seed pearls was re-set with resin (visible only under magnification. It is currently a size 5.5, but it can be re-sized free of charge.

Materials: Diamond, Gold.
