Antique Turquoise Egyptian Revival Pendant of 14k Gold

Ancient Egyptians believed the scarab faced god, Khepri caused the sun to rise each day, and as such, scarabs are an ancient symbol of renewal, creation, and rebirth.

This antique pendant (circa 1910) features a turquoise scarab, set in 14k gold, adorned in enamel.

The piece measures 1.2 inches from the top of the bail by 0.6 inches wide, and it is in excellent condition.
