Antique Wing Conversion Necklace of 14k Gold

The feathered serpent was an important supernatural deity in Mesoamerican society. The Aztecs referred to this god as Quetzalcoatl -- the creator and originator of all life.

Inspired by the concept of creation, we designed this dynamic necklace to build upon the lore of the Quetzalcoatl -- with a serpent being born from the winged "parent" with a pearl acorn, a symbol of unlimited potential and life dangling beneath.

The winged pendant was originally an antique era watch pin (circa 1890-1900) that we transformed by removing the pin findings and maintaining the watch hook to hold a dangle, and welding on a 14k gold chain.

The pendant is accented with enamel and three diamond accents. It measures 1.5 inches from top to bottom by 1.8 inches wide, and the total necklace length is 20 inches. The piece is in excellent condition.

Materials: Diamond, Gold.
