Vintage Enamel Pansy with Pearl Conversion Ring of 14k Gold

Pansies or heartsease were referred to by Shakespeare as "Cupid's flower." Rich in symbolism, this flower was believed to symbolize that one was loved by their sweetheart.

This finely wrought pansy was originally a 14k gold brooch (circa 1940-1950) that our jeweler transformed by removing the pin findings and welding on a split 14k gold band. The flower features enamel petals and a lustrous pearl accent at its center.

This large pansy measures 0.95 tall by 0.9 inches wide, and it is in good condition with some repairs to the top two petals (visible only under magnification). The ring is currently a size 6, but it can be re-sized free of charge.

Materials: Pearl, Gold.
