Antique Enamel Pendant | Antique Egyptian Revival Brooch Conversion Pendant

A fascination with the aesthetics of ancient Egypt was popular in the late 1700s through the early 20th century brought about by archeological discoveries and a wave of public curiosity.

Egyptian jewelry was a link to ancient opulence, and it also held the allure of a legendary culture and its mysterious symbols. This finely rendered Limoges style enamel pendant depicts a young woman in Egyptian dress accented with glistening rose cut diamonds. The pendant was originally an antique brooch (circa 1890-1910) transformed with the addition of a domed 14k gold back and bail.

The pendant measures 2 inches from top to bottom by 1 inch wide, and we are providing the option to purchase the pendant with or without the 24 inch 14k gold chain depicted in the attached photos.

The piece is in good condition; however, there are two small enamel repairs (one on the top right of the enamel and the other on the bottom left). These repairs are only visible under careful magnification.

Materials: Gold, Diamond.
