It is not certain from where the word "peridot" derived. Some believe it comes from the Greek word "peridona" meaning "giving plenty". This may be the reason peridot is associated with good fortune and prosperity.
This unique charm features a dazzling lime green peridot and a petite pearl set into a shimmering 14k gold mounting. The pendant was created from an antique stickpin (circa 1910).
The charm measures 1 inch from the top of the jump ring bail to the bottom of the charm by 0.4 inches wide and is in excellent condition.
Materials: Peridot, Gold.
