A spectacular Victorian era diamond brooch (circa 1890-1900).
This glistening diamond brooch is silver topped 14k gold and measures 3 inches. The largest diamond is an old European cut stone of approximately 0.25ct. There is also one other old European cut stone and the remaining diamonds are single cuts. The total carat weight of the diamonds is 0.88ct.
The brooch bears unknown maker's marks, and acid tests for silver over 14k gold.
It is in very good condition; however, the pin catch is a later (yet quite old) replacement.
