Description

Some of the finest diamond jewelry ever made was produced around the turn of the last century. Dainty filigree pieces covered in bead set diamonds were bountiful during the early 1900s because of an influx of diamonds into the marketplace and the growing use of platinum, a strong, ductile material that revolutionized jewelry design.

This stunning ring from the early 1900s features a transitional cut center diamond of approximately 33 points (0.33 carat) surrounded by nine smaller diamonds in a dome-shaped pierced open work mount. The center diamond is H-I color, VS2 clarity.
A size 5.5, this ring is marked for for 90% platinum and weighs 3 grams. The ring is very good condition, although it shows signs of wear consistent with age.
We can re-size most rings free of charge. If a different size is desired, please contact our store for additional details and prices.
