Love token "honeymoon" jewelry was all the rage at the turn of the 20th century. The "honey" was represented by a flower or bouquet of flowers and the crescent moon represented the "moon."
This lovely pendant, once a honeymoon pin from the early 1900s, features an iridescent purple and yellow enamel iris with a glistening diamond accent resting atop a pearl studded crescent moon.
The pendant is unmarked, but acid tests for 14k gold. It measures 1.1 inches from top to bottom by 0.8 inches wide. The condition is good; however, there is some loss to the iridescent enamel (visible upon close inspection).
We are providing the option to purchase the pendant with or without the 16 inch 14k gold chain depicted in the attached photos.
