The horseshoe is one of the most prominent symbols of luck in the world. Its popularity as lucky emblems dates back centuries, when horseshoes were supposedly used to fend off evil spirits.
These horseshoe earrings (circa 1910-1920) are sterling silver with sparkling paste accents. The ear wires are a pale 10k rose gold. The earrings measure 0.9 inches from top to bottom by 0.8 inches wide.
They are in very good condition.
