Antique Yellow Diamond Watchcock Conversion Earrings

A rare fusion of history and elegance, these remarkable earrings were created from Georgian watchcocks—ornate elements once used to protect the balance wheel of 18th-century timepieces. Transformed into wearable art, each dangle has been adorned with yellow diamonds and suspended from solid 14k gold ear wires, giving new life to these centuries-old treasures.

The watchcocks are crafted in gilt gold (pinchbeck), a traditional alloy used during the Georgian era to achieve the warm glow of gold.
