Antique Cameo Conversion Pendant of 14k Gold

The charm depicts the Greek God Hermes, the God of speed and protector of travelers. Hermes was a messenger God with the ability to travel quickly between the worlds of the mortal and divine with his special winged sandals.

This 14k gold pendant was converted from an antique stick pin (circa 1900-1910) by removing the pin stem and adding a gold bail. It features a carved shell cameo face and a single diamond accent.

The piece measures 1.1 inches from the top of the bail to bottom by 0.75 inches wide, and it is in great condition.
