Antique Diamond Pendant Brooch of 14k Gold

A sparkling jewel of the late Victorian era, this antique pendant-brooch (circa 1880–1900) features eight glittering old mine cut diamonds set in a finely crafted 14k gold frame. Designed with a movable bail, the piece offers versatility, allowing it to be worn as either a pendant or a brooch.

At its center rests a 0.16 carat old mine cut diamond of M color, framed by seven additional stones with a combined weight of 0.60 carats (L–M color). Together, the diamonds total approximately 0.76 carats, their hand-cut facets catching the light with the soft, romantic sparkle that defines antique diamonds.

The jewel measures approximately 1.15 inches from the top of the bail to the base by 1 inch wide, and it remains in great antique condition, a testament to both its quality and careful preservation.

For added assurance of authenticity and quality, the gold has been professionally tested using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis and traditional acid testing, confirming its 14k fineness.

A versatile and timeless jewel, this Victorian diamond pendant-brooch is a rare example of 19th-century craftsmanship — equally stunning as a collectible heirloom or as a statement piece for modern wear.
