Antique Micromosaic Bird Pendant of 14k Gold

Antique Micromosaic Pendant: This 14k gold pendant features a micromosaic of two birds comprised of hand set glass tesserae. It was created from part of an antique bracelet (circa 1840) that our jeweler transformed by adding a 14k gold back and bail.

The piece measures 0.9 inches from the top of the bail to bottom by 0.6 inches wide and weighs 2.8 grams. It is in great condition with one or two tesserae missing near the top of the plaque.
