Victorian Bird Conversion Earrings of 14k Gold

Swallows were a common motif in Victorian and Edwardian jewelry symbolic of faithful love and a safe return home.

These earrings were converted from antique cufflinks (circa 1880-1900). The earrings feature finely rendered birds of 14k gold.

Each earring measures 1.6 inches from the top of the ear wire to bottom by 0.95 inches wide and are in excellent condition.
