Vintage Old European Cut Diamond Ring of 14k White Gold

This elegant engagement ring marries the romance of the past with the clean lines of mid-20th century design. At its heart is an antique Old European cut diamond, weighing 0.78 carats (K color, SI2 clarity), a cut beloved for its larger facets and captivating play of light. The center stone is framed by twenty single-cut diamonds, each approximately 0.01 carat, bringing the total diamond weight of the piece to 0.98 carats.

The diamond appears to have been an heirloom stone, later set in a more contemporary 14k white gold mounting crafted in the 1970s–1980s. This thoughtful pairing allows the antique diamond to shine while benefiting from the durability and stylistic appeal of a later setting.

The ring is marked 14k, professionally tested with X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis and jeweler’s acid testing to confirm its gold purity. It is in very good condition and currently a size 5.25. Resizing is available upon request for an additional charge.
