Antique Columbian Emerald and Diamond Ring of 18k Gold and Platinum - GIA Cert

A luminous example of Belle Époque refinement, this antique ring (circa 1900–1915) dazzles with a vibrant arrangement of vivid slight bluish green natural emeralds paired with sparkling old European cut diamonds, all set in a gracefully elongated mount of platinum and 18K yellow gold—a classic metal combination favored for its strength and elegance.

This exquisite antique piece features a stunning 1.36ct rectangular emerald-cut emerald as the centerpiece. Accompanying it are two square-cut emeralds, each with a weight of 0.31ct and 0.42ct, respectively, both exhibiting a matching color grade. These emeralds are accompanied by a GIA origin report, confirming their natural origin from Colombia and F2 clarity enhancement.

The largest diamond is a 0.63ct old European-cut diamond, graded H-I color and SI1 clarity. Flanking the center stone are two additional 0.22ct old European-cut diamonds, along with 19 smaller accent diamonds, bringing the total diamond carat weight to 1.73ctw.

The ring’s face measures a striking 1.25 inches tall by 0.7 inches wide, delivering bold visual presence while maintaining a delicate, lace-like balance. The diamonds exhibit the soft fire and charm unique to hand-cut stones of the era, while the richly saturated emeralds lend a lush, regal allure.
