Antique Man-in-the-Moon Ring of 14k Gold

A magical antique man-in-the-moon ring, featuring a delicately carved moonstone face (c. 1900) set within a celestial crescent of diamonds and natural rubies. The moonstone’s soft, ethereal glow pairs beautifully with the sparkle and color of the surrounding stones, creating a romantic and quintessentially Victorian celestial motif.

The crescent element originated as 15ct gold Victorian bar pin from 1890, while the moonstone face was originally part of a masonic brooch. The piece was expertly transformed by our jeweler, who united the moonstone carving with the diamond-and-ruby crescent and added a 14k gold band.

The face of the ring measures approximately 0.5 inches by 0.55 inches, and it is currently a size 7 (resizable upon request for an additional charge).

All metals have been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and confirmed with jeweler’s acid testing, authenticating its 14k gold composition. In excellent antique condition, this ring is a rare and enchanting example of Victorian celestial design, perfect for collectors drawn to symbolic, one-of-a-kind jewels.
