Antique Moonstone and Diamond Ring of Platinum Topped 18k Gold

An elegant antique ring centered with an orthoclase moonstone, encircled by a delicate halo of rose cut diamonds, offering a soft and luminous interplay of light. The moonstone displays gentle adularescence, its ethereal glow beautifully complemented by the subtle, antique sparkle of the surrounding diamonds.

Originally created as an antique stickpin dating to 1880–1900, the piece has been thoughtfully transformed by our jeweler through removal of the original pin stem and the addition of a 18 karat gold band, allowing the historic element to be worn as a ring.

The face of the ring measures 0.6 inches by 0.5 inches wide, creating a refined yet noticeable presence on the hand. The ring weighs 3.61 grams and is presented in great antique condition, with stones secure and details well preserved.

Currently a size 5.5, the ring may be professionally resized for an additional charge.

Metal authenticity has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming solid 18K gold construction. A graceful and collectible example of antique gemstone jewelry.

Gemstone identification has been confirmed using Raman spectroscopy, a non-destructive analytical technique that provides a precise chemical fingerprint to verify authenticity.
