Antique Mother of Pearl Game Piece Pendant of 12k Gold

An evocative pendant centered with a panel of finely etched mother of pearl, originally created as an antique game piece (circa 1880-1900). The surface decoration reflects the delicate craftsmanship of the late 19th century, with luminous iridescence and crisp etched detail.

The element has been thoughtfully transformed into a pendant by our jeweler, who added a 12 karat gold wire frame and bail, allowing the historic piece to be worn while preserving its character and integrity.

The pendant measures 2.8 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom and 0.6 inches wide, with a light, elegant weight of 3.93 grams. It is presented in great condition, with the mother of pearl intact and the gold mounting clean and secure. A distinctive example of adaptive reuse, bridging antique material culture and modern wearability.
