Georgian Rhodolite Garnet and Diamond Ring of 14k Gold

An elegant antique ring dating to 1800, centered with a richly colored flat cut rhodolite garnet accented by old cut diamond shoulders, mounted in silver topped 14 karat gold. The garnet displays a deep red hue, beautifully complemented by the soft sparkle of the diamonds, while the silver setting enhances their brightness—an approach characteristic of early 19th-century jewelry.

The face of the ring measures 0.2 inches north to south, creating a delicate and wearable presence on the hand. The ring weighs 1.71 grams and is presented in very good antique condition with light surface wear.

Currently a size 6.75, the ring may be professionally resized for an additional charge.

Gemstone identification has been confirmed using Raman spectroscopy, a non-destructive analytical technique that provides a precise chemical fingerprint to verify authenticity. Metal authenticity has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming silver and 14K gold construction.
