Retro Vintage Tiffany Belt & Buckle Ring of 14k Gold Sapphire and Diamond

A refined and historically significant jewel, this 1940s Tiffany & Co. belt ring is an exquisite example of wartime-era craftsmanship. Rendered in solid 14k gold and accented with palladium–ruthenium—metals employed during World War II when platinum was restricted for civilian use—the piece embodies both ingenuity and elegance. Its finely articulated buckle is set with a diamonds and sapphires, adding a discreet yet luxurious sparkle to the iconic belt motif, a symbol long associated with loyalty, protection, and enduring devotion.

The supple gold mesh band, a hallmark of mid-century sophistication, is ingeniously adjustable and can be worn comfortably from size 4.25 to 9.75. Measuring approximately 0.4 inches from north to south, the ring offers a distinctive presence while retaining a graceful, fluid silhouette. The ring bears the Tiffany mark on the underside of the clasp. The ring weighs 9.09 grams.

The gold has been authenticated through XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and corroborated by jeweler’s acid testing, confirming its 14k composition. The ring is presented in good vintage condition—with only a few minor impressions in the mesh where the clasp attaches to the ring, some significant wear to the sapphires (visible under magnification), and a chip to one of the single channel set sapphires.
