Antique Enamel Pansy Ring of 14k Gold

A charming and symbolically rich antique ring, featuring a beautifully rendered pansy decorated in deep purple enamel and centered with a single pearl, all framed in solid 14k gold. Pansies were especially beloved in early 20th-century jewelry, traditionally symbolizing thoughtfulness, remembrance, and affection, making this motif both decorative and meaningful. The soft luster of the pearl provides a graceful contrast to the saturated enamel, enhancing the floral design’s visual depth.

Originally part of an antique brooch dating to 1910, the pansy was thoughtfully transformed by our jeweler by removing the original pin fittings and adding a 14k gold band, allowing the piece to be worn as a ring while preserving its period character and proportions. The ring weighs 2.16 grams.

The face of the ring measures approximately 0.5 inches by 0.5 inches wide and is currently a size 6.5 (resizable upon request for an additional charge). The gold has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and confirmed with traditional jeweler’s acid testing, authenticating its 14k composition. In great antique condition, this ring is a lovely example of Edwardian-era floral jewelry, ideal for collectors who appreciate enamel artistry, sentimental motifs, and sensitively executed antique conversions.
