Antique Wing Necklace of 14k and 10k Gold

An elegant necklace featuring a pair of finely sculpted wings, crafted in 10 karat gold and accented with delicate half pearls, suspending a luminous black opal drop. The wing motif, long associated with protection and transcendence, is beautifully balanced by the opal’s shifting play of color, creating movement and depth.

Originally created as an antique brooch (circa 1900), the piece has been thoughtfully transformed by our jeweler who removed the original pin findings and added a 14 karat gold chain. Metal authenticity has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming 10K and 14K gold components.

The pendant measures 1 inch by 1.2 inches wide, and the chain measures 17 inches in length, offering an elegant drape. It is presented in excellent antique condition, with pearls secure and surfaces well preserved.
