Antique Micromosaic Dove Locket of 14k Gold

A charming micromosaic depicting two doves frolicking in a bush of pink roses.

This striking pendant dates to the Victorian era (circa 1870-1890). The finely rendered micromosaic consists of hand set glass tesserae mounted in 14k gold. The glass panel on the reverse opens as a locket.

The piece measures 2 inches from the top of the bail to bottom by 1.2 inches wide, and it is in great condition.
