Antique Micromosaic Bird Pendant of 14k Gold

Antique Micromosaic Pendant: This pendant features a micromosaic of hand set glass tesserae, depicting two birds set in 14k gold.

The mosaic (circa 1830-1840) was originally part of a broken, late Georgian era bracelet. Our jeweler added a new 14k gold bail to transform the piece into a pendant.

The piece measures 0.9 inches from the top of the bail to bottom by 0.7 inches wide and weighs 2.5 grams. It is in great condition.
