Antique Enamel Woman Pendant of 14k Gold

A jewel of exquisite artistry, this antique pendant (circa 1900–1910) features a finely enameled portrait of a woman, her expression captured with remarkable detail and lifelike depth. Her hair is adorned with shimmering diamond accents, adding a touch of brilliance to the composition.

The portrait is framed by black taille d’épargne enamel, a decorative technique prized during the late Victorian and Edwardian eras for its intricate, contrasting detail. The jewel is completed by an ornate diamond-set bail — a later addition that enhances both its elegance and wearability as a pendant.

Measuring approximately 2 inches from the top of the bail to the base of the pendant by 1.5 inches wide, this piece presents with presence yet retains an intimate, personal quality. It remains in very good condition, a testament to the care with which it has been preserved.

The gold content has been professionally verified using both X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming the integrity of its precious metal construction.

Materials: 14k gold, diamond, enamel, yellow gold.
