Chrysocolla Snake Ring of 14k Gold

This dramatic, one-of-a-kind statement ring entwines the mystique of an antique serpent with the vivid beauty of natural chrysocolla. We created the piece by riveting a 14k gold serpent—cast from an antique stickpin—atop a vibrant chrysocolla cabochon mounted in 14k gold. The serpent coils protectively over the gemstone, its sinuous form echoing Victorian symbolism of eternal love and renewal.

The ring’s face measures 1.1 inches by 0.7 inches with a rise of 0.4 inches above the finger, offering both presence and intrigue. It is currently a size 6.25, and can be resized for an additional charge.

The gold content of both the serpent and the setting has been verified through XRF (x-ray fluorescence) analysis and jeweler’s acid testing, ensuring authenticity and quality.
