Iris Brooch | 14k Gold, Enamel Brooch

Iris, the Greek goddess of the rainbow, was said to bridge heaven and earth. These purple flowers were planted over graves so the goddess could guide souls to heaven.

This antique brooch (circa 1910) features an iris of 14k gold with iridescent enamel. The piece bears the maker mark for Whiteside & Blank of New Jersey.

The brooch measures 0.7 inches by 1.7 inches wide and is in excellent condition.
