Antique Turquoise Insect Brooch of 15ct Gold

Victorians were fascinated with naturalism and brought their flora and fauna indoors in the form of insects and nature.

This antique brooch (circa 1910-1920) features an insect of 15ct gold with a turquoise body, pearl studded wings and glittering ruby eyes.

The piece measures 0.9 inches by 2.25 inches wide and is in excellent condition.
