RESERVED - 10k Gold Crescent Moon Charm | Enamel Violet & Crescent Charm

Honeymoon pins were popular gifts among couples around the turn of the last century. The violet in this charm represents the "honey" and the crescent, the "moon."

This delicate charm was originally an antique stick pin (circa 1910) transformed with the addition of a 10k gold jump ring bail. The crescent is accented with a purple enamel violet that holds a pearl at its center. It is 10k gold (unmarked, but acid tested).

The charm is 0.6 inches from the top to bottom (including the jump ring bail) by 0.37 inches wide. It is in great condition.
