Antique Garnet Snake Ring of 9ct Gold

A symbolic and beautifully preserved antique double snake ring, crafted in 9ct gold and featuring two intertwined serpents set with garnets of subtly different hues - one a rhodolite garnet and the other a grossular/hessonite garnet. The serpent motif, long associated with eternity, protection, and everlasting love, was especially beloved in Edwardian-era jewelry.

The ring bears full English hallmarks confirming it was assayed in Chester in 1912, adding desirable provenance and authenticity. The face of the ring measures approximately 0.5 inches wide, and it is currently a size 10.5 (resizable upon request for an additional charge).

The gold has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and confirmed with jeweler’s acid testing, authenticating its 9ct composition. In excellent antique condition, this ring is a rare and meaningful example of early 20th-century British craftsmanship, perfect for collectors who appreciate historic hallmarks and the enduring symbolism of the serpent.
