An exceptional antique micromosaic ring centered with a finely detailed depiction of a feathered Pegasus, originally created as part of a mid Victorian era bracelet. The micromosaic panel, composed of individually set glass tesserae, reflects the remarkable precision and artistry characteristic of mid-19th-century Italian Grand Tour workmanship.
The historic element has been thoughtfully preserved and mounted by our jeweler into a custom 14 karat gold band, allowing the fragment to be worn while honoring its original integrity.
The face of the ring measures 0.3 inches by 0.6 inches, offering a refined yet distinctive presence. It remains in great antique condition, with a few minor missing tesserae consistent with age that do not detract from the imagery.
Currently a size 6.25, it may be professionally resized for an additional charge. Metal authenticity has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming solid 14K gold.
