Originally part of an 1890s bookmark, this extraordinary piece was expertly converted by our jeweler, who added a custom 14k gold backing and bail to transform it into a wearable work of art.
The pendant measures approximately 1 inch from the top of the bail to the bottom and 0.75 inches wide, with a weight of 3.75 grams. It is in great antique condition, with the saphiret glass beautifully preserved and the goldwork finely executed.
To ensure authenticity and quality, the gold has been professionally tested using both X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and jeweler’s acid methods, confirming its 14k purity.
