Antique Sliding Mirror Pendant Necklace | 14k Gold & Sapphire

A sizable pendant with a hidden secret!

This antique 14k gold necklace (circa 1920) features an abstract pendant with a single sapphire cabochon accent that slides open to reveal two mirrors. The piece is marked 585 (indicating 14k gold) and it also bears a maker's mark that we have been unable to identify.

The pendant measures 2.4 inches from the top of the bail to bottom by 1.45 inches wide (when closed), and the chain measures 57 inches. The weight of the entire necklace is 38.9 grams, and it is in very good condition with some minor waviness to the fox tail chain.
