In many cultures throughout the world, frogs symbolize good luck. For Germans, a frog's luck is attributed to its ability to only go forward, never backward.

This golden frog pendant glitters with peridot and diamonds. The pendant was originally a 1970s era brooch transformed with the addition of a 14k gold jump ring bail. The piece is marked for 14k gold and bears an unknown maker's mark of "KK."

It measures 0.9 inches from top to bottom by 0.8 inches wide, and it is in excellent condition.
