The ring bears a personalized memorial inscription in black enamel on the band: “ROBT ANDERSON * DIED 12 OCT 1771 AGED 50."Such detailed and specific inscriptions are prized by collectors for their emotional depth and historical context.

The face of the ring measures approximately 0.6 x 0.5 inches and is presented in excellent antique condition, retaining remarkable clarity in its enamel work and detail. The ring is currently a size 7 and, due to the nature of its construction and enamel, cannot be resized.
