Georgian Mourning Ring | Urn Ring

An exceptional Georgian mourning ring featuring an enamel urn set atop a vibrant cobalt blue enamel backdrop under domed rock crystal.

The reverse of the ring is inscribed with 'Sam Wall gent. Ob: 20 March 1782 At: 70'. Samuel Wall is buried at St. Martin's church burial ground in Colchester, Essex, England.

The face of the ring measures 1.15 inches by 0.7 inches wide, and it is in very good condition. The ring is a size 6.5 but can be resized free of charge.
