Georgian Mourning Ring with a Rhodalite Garnet in 18k Gold

This late Georgian era mourning ring features a rhodalite garnet set in an ornate 18k gold mounting. The inside of the band is inscribed with 'Eliz'th Morley Obt. 4th May 1837' and there is a small locket of hair on the underside of the mounting.

The ring is currently a size 7.75 and it is in great condition. It can be re-sized free of charge; however, there would be some loss to the British hallmarks on the interior of the band.

Note: The antique box in the photo is for display purposes only and is not included with the ring.

Materials: 18k gold, Garnet.
