The green man motif has its roots in ancient deities associated with nature, plant growth and wildlife. In art and sculpture, a green man is typically depicted with vines, leaves, and branches sprouting out of a man's face.

This antique stickpin (circa 1910) features a green man of 10k gold with two garnet eyes and a diamond in his mouth.

The pin head measures 0.5 inches by 0.4 inches wide, while the entire stickpin measures 2.25 inches long. It is in very good condition.
