Owl Charm | Antique Charm

Owls have long associations with wisdom and academic achievement. The Greek goddess of wisdom, Athene, was often depicted with an owl, as was her Roman counterpart Minerva.

This charm was converted from an antique stick pin (circa 1910-1920) by removing the stem and adding a jump ring bail. The piece features an owl of 14k gold with two glittering diamonds for eyes.

The charm measures 0.6 inches from the top of the jump ring to bottom by 0.35 inches wide and is in excellent condition.
