Vintage Purple Enamel Pansy Brooch of 14k Gold

Pansies symbolize a hope that love should not be forgotten.

A spectacular pendant or brooch from the early 20th century, this bold purple pansy looks like it was just picked from the garden! The petals are curved to mimic the shape of a real pansy flower and the center is accented by a lustrous post set pearl.

This fabulous piece is fashioned of solid 14k yellow gold and bears the hallmark for Krementz & Co. It measures 1.2 inches from top to bottom by 1 inch wide.

The piece is in good condition; however, there was some minor restoration to the enamel on the edges of the petals (visible under magnification).
