Victorian Garnet Doublet and Diamond Ring of 10k Gold

An elegant Victorian era ring dating to 1890, centered with a richly colored garnet doublet accented by two rose cut diamonds, all set in 10 karat gold. The garnet doublet displays a warm, rosy hue, beautifully complemented by the soft, antique sparkle of the rose cut diamonds, creating a refined and harmonious composition characteristic of late 19th-century design.

The face of the ring measures 0.4 inches north to south, providing a delicate yet noticeable presence on the hand. The ring weighs 1.85 grams and is presented in great antique condition, with stones secure and surfaces well preserved.

Currently a size 7, the ring may be professionally resized for an additional charge.

Gemstone identification has been confirmed using Raman spectroscopy, a non-destructive analytical technique that provides a precise chemical fingerprint to verify authenticity. Metal authenticity has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming solid 10K gold construction.
