Vintage Amethyst and Diamond Ring of 14k Gold

Amethyst has long symbolized romantic love. According to legend, St. Valentine wore an amethyst ring while performing clandestine wedding ceremonies for Roman soldiers who were forbidden to marry under the laws of the day.

What better way to say "I love you" than with this exquisite vintage ring (circa 1920). The ring features a stunningly saturated violet-hued amethyst stone with two glistening diamonds on either side, set into a 14k gold mounting.

The ring is currently a size 7.5 and can be resized free of charge. It is in good condition with a small chip to the girdle of the amethyst (visible under magnification).
