Vintage Blue Faience Flip Ring | Faience Carved Flip Ring

A fun and versatile Egyptian Revival faience ring from the 1960s!

This intriguing ring is crafted in buttery 18k gold with a vibrant blue faience ceramic. The front of the faience is domed, while the underside has design embossed in the ceramic.

The faience is drilled and a pin spears through the scarab allowing it to flip. If flipped and turned on its side, it can be worn as a pendant on a chain. The ring bears maker's marks on the reverse of the band and it acid tests for 18k gold.
