Vintage Sputnik Ring of 18k Gold by H. Stern

In 1957, the Soviet Union launched the Sputnik satellite into space, and designers found inspiration in the satellite craze.

This "Sputnik" bombé-style dates to the 1960s. It's 18k gold (marked 750), and it also bears a maker's mark for the H. Stern Company. The top of the ring measures 0.8 inches in diameter and it is studded with colorful gemstones including citrine, amethyst, garnet, and aquamarines.

It is a size 6, but can be resized free of charge.
