Antique Enamel Heart Conversion Pendant of 14k Gold

Delicate and romantic, this charming pendant features a finely enameled flower nestled within a softly rounded heart—expertly crafted in rich 14k gold. Originally created as a brooch by the esteemed Bippart Co. of Newark, NJ (circa 1910–1915), the piece has been thoughtfully transformed into a pendant by removing the pin findings and welding on a custom 14k gold bail, giving it new life as a wearable treasure for today.

The heart-shaped frame cradles a beautifully detailed enamel bloom, symbolizing love, remembrance, and feminine grace. The enamel work remains crisp and colorful, with only minimal loss to the leaf—consistent with the age of the piece and barely visible when worn.

The pendant measures approximately 0.9 inches (23mm) tall by 0.85 inches (22mm) wide and is in very good antique condition. The gold has been XRF-tested to confirm its 14k composition.

A rare example of early 20th-century American jewelry from a respected Newark maker, this pendant is perfect for the collector who appreciates antique enamel work, meaningful motifs, and thoughtful modern conversions that honor the past.

Materials: 14k gold, enamel.
