Antique Griffin Conversion Pendant of 14k Gold

This striking pendant was originally part of an antique 14k gold bracelet (circa 1890–1900) and has been thoughtfully transformed with the addition of a 14k gold bail. The design features a finely detailed griffin—an enduring symbol of strength, courage, and protection—resting upon a polished black onyx plaque and accented with a single luminous pearl.

The pendant measures 1.3 inches from top to bottom by 0.95 inches across. It is offered in very good condition and is accompanied by an 18-inch 10k gold and onyx chain, creating a complete and wearable suite. The gold content has been verified through XRF (x-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming purity and integrity.
