A spectacular Victorian bracelet from the mid-Victorian era (circa 1850-1870), pairing vibrant turquoise enamel with a bold star design accented with pearls.
This link bracelet is fashioned of 18k gold (unmarked, but acid tested); however, the tongue of the clasp is 14k. The circumference is 7 inches, and the center plaque measures 1 inch (24mm) by 1.2 inches (29mm). The remaining links are 0.55 inches (13.5mm) wide.
The condition of the enamel is extraordinary with no nicks or chips. The only condition issue is that there was possibly once a backing to the face of the bracelet that is no longer present, although our jeweler can find no evidence of any piece having been removed. We are not certain whether the top link originally had a backing or if this is the original condition.
Materials: Turquoise.
